Clash of Clans Builder – Day 2

Keep going, upgrade gold mines and elixir collectors, upgrade storages, upgrade your town hall, rinse and repeat. To be a great Clash of Clans base builder, you need to spend your resources where you think it’s best. With only 2 builders, you need to allocate them properly. Even with an impossible 20 builders, you’d need to be making smart decisions. You can only spend what you have, so in order to get more without playing for tons of hours each night, keep upgrading those resources.

The near term goal is to keep upgrading your Town Hall so you can get more mining and defense resources, and to do this without playing for hours a day, you need to farm, farm, farm, and you can only farm well if you have upgraded storages and mining capabilities.

I’ve always enjoyed a big attack with tons of upgraded troops, and the only way to get all the way there is with resources. This upgrading of resources should take about 3-4 weeks in total, by which time you’ll be producing so much gold and elixir that you can upgrade anything you want. Without this method, upgrading these resources would take 2-3x as long.

When you go to attack the computer, be sure to target the defenses before everything else. In this case, since there are no mortars it’s not a huge deal, you can pool all of your resources against the cannons and not worry about having big groups of troops, but in future rounds, split them up so the mortars don’t ruin the whole lot in a clip. When you attack Two Smoking Barrels, split up your troops and attack both the top and bottom cannons at the same time.
