Computer Attacks: For Maginot Line, split your troops up so the mortar doesn’t take them all out. Take out both sides of cannons then the rest is easy. This mortar is weak though so it’s not bad. In the future for mortar attacks, play your giants first to absorb the damage, put out your archers to take out the surrounding stuff, send in a breaker to take down the walls, take out the mortar, then send in the barbarians.
Here’s a great computer battle, one of the first great ones
I lost to Gobbotown. I went in from both sides to the top cannons of each and it shredded me. I’ll wait until I get archers. Another army camp wouldn’t hurt here either for 20 more troops.

Continuing down the path of being a great Clash of Clans builder without investing hours of gameplay, I keep upgrading my mining and storage capabilities. It’s all about a great farming strategy. Keep patient, it will pan out! Don’t worry about walls yet, no one will attack, and even if they do, it’ll be so insignificant vs the money to spend on walls yet. Don’t worry about upgrading barracks or army camps. Focus on upgrading elixir collectors and gold mines and storages. You’ve got to upgrade that Town Hall to keep kicking butt.
Once those gold mines and elixir collectors are upgraded, doing the rest of the upgrades will be easy, fun, and fast. You’ll get to have dragons, pekka, x-bows, and inferno towers faster than all of your friends. You can attack the computer in the meantime. If you attack other players, they’ll retaliate and take your resources.
Keep upgrading resources!
