Here’s my revised layout after analyzing how others are attacking me

So after making my prior posts, I posted to Reddit here and got my layout and strategies handed to me. I thought about what they said and many of the points raised were good, that my walls weren’t upgraded, that my strategies wouldn’t raise as much loot as possible, and that I was upgrading my town halls too fast, facing penalties on total resources available when attacking.
So what I proceeded to do was keep my TH6 layout and focus on upgrading walls, archer towers, wizard towers, mortars, cannons, and army camps. I needed to slow down the town hall upgrades and focus on my defense while going out and attacking when I had time. I did revenges tons of times and came up huge. I’ve posted many of them below. Once you have a TH7 or TH8 base, the total allowable resources to pull from an attack goes down if they also have a lower level base than you do. It’s a leveling penalty the game places on you to make everything fair, but it results in crappy farming results.
The revised layout I have here places my gold and elixir storages at the center, at least 2 sets of walls to opponents getting in there, with the opponents having to get through my defenses before they arrive. They’re also not placed within the same set of walls so if the enemy breaches one, the don’t get access to everything. The mortars are the strongest pieces of the defense with the greatest range, so I’ve placed them at the center to reach everywhere. Wizard towers are great at taking out goblins, so I placed them next to the resource storages. Archer towers have great range. I’ve surrounded my walls with my other buildings so the opponent can’t place their troops close to my walls. This gives the defensive units more time to attack them.
My cannons, laboratory, one of my archer towers, gold mine, and elixir collectors can’t be upgraded until the next level. My army camp upgrades allow me to have more troops in battle. I’ve upgraded my Lightning spell to level 3, shooting for level 4 next. I focused on getting my army camps to level up at 750k each before the $1M lightning level 4.
I’m not big on using balloon fighting units so I’m waiting to upgrade my barracks, but I do like using healers, which come after balloon fighters.
Sample battle strategies
Use lightning to take out the center mortar. Without doing that, it will destroy all of your forces until you get in there. Then, attack away from the wizard tower. Your gobs will take out the units on the left when you let them in. Lead with giants, breakers, surround with archers, send in barbs then gobs. You may want to wait for the giants to make headway and the archers to take out more units before sending in the smaller units against the wizard tower.
